Chateau Valmale is an ancient domaine and guests have to remember its past to appreciate the atmosphere. The property oozes charm and tranquility and our guests love it as it is.



Ground Floor

The interior of the house exudes the style and grace of the period, with the decorative features os ornate pendant Chandeliers and grand working fireplaces juxtaposed with smooth painted walls and noble antique furniture.
Off from the marble floor lobby with cloakroom you'll find a study with desk with all adapters ready for your use to plug in your laptop and connect to the
web.
To keep up to date with events at home or settle down to a good movie, you can sink into a comfortable leather sofa in the wood-panelled sitting room and with
fireplace and TV
The principal sitting room is large, light and spacious welcoming you with regally upholstered sofas and chairs, a majestic mantle mirror over the fireplace and plenty of Soft lamp lighting. Tall French windows open out onto the enclosed rear Private Garden.
The more convivial moments, there is also a smaller sitting room with comfy chairs and large coffee table, perfect for board games, playing cards or simply relaxing with a good book. Again this room has tall French windows opening out onto the gardens.
The spacious fully fitted and equipped kitchen and dining area has a dining table and chairs to seat 16 people.A full wall of floor-to-ceiling sliding windows opens onto a decked, vine- shaded patio area enabling you to spend barmy

Floors.

Intricately ironworked banisters line the stairs which lead up from the main sitting room to the first floor. Here lie three double bedrooms one on suite all with French windows opening onto balconets and two with doors onto a private terrace. this floor is also served by another bathroom and separate WC.
The second floor houses four further bedrooms, one on suite with French windows to balconets plus another bathroom and WC.
All the bedrooms are distinguishably dressed in the rich colours of the Languedoc region. Beautiful Maple and mahogany chambre sets in keeping with the period from the 18th century Louis XV to 19th-century Empire, are clothed in fresh white bedlinen to sink into them at the end of a hard day relaxing.

The Gardens
The Château is approached by Private country lane winding first through fields, then straightening into a tree-lined avenue passing the wine workers cottages before reaching the seclusion of the property itself.
The fully enclosed and Private formal Park Gardens lie directly behind the Chateau. Their lawns sculptured topiary, shady canopy trees are proudly if shyly patrolled by five resident
peacocks.
The Pool lies in its own separate walled garden, surrounded by soft grass and accessed by a single door insuring maximum safety and privacy. Within the Pool garden area you will find a summer kitchen with refrigerator for preparing drinks and snacks. A WC is also available.
